EVERY DJ AND HOST SHOULD LIST THEIR EVENTS

 

 Everyone should list their events
why?
Listing a event is free it only takes a few minutes to list a event
This helps with traffic that means it will help to bring more people to the club
More people this will increase your chance to make more tips that means more lindens
Don't know how? here is a step by step on how to list a event

sam has the amazing capability to run a smooth transition between djs by playing the stream from the dj before you allowing a good  transition between djs


copy the dj's URL from land ( do not delete it out if you do by mistake contact the dj right away)

go to sam broadcaster and in music queue you will see a small drop down arrow next the huge +

click add url and paste the url in

play the url that you can see in your que list

make sure your encoders is running and there are no errors

 make sure your streaming the other dj's stream


 click the board at :58  and the dj that is djing will be streaming through you


 fade the dj and play your song/intro at the hour


DJ's
your set ends at 00 do not get mad if your song does not finish and your cut off

at 58 you would have already said your goodbyes
and logged out of the tipjar and will be heading off stage

Nobody likes baby talk when they go out to party with friends in real life, we don't like it in second life
if a child avi comes in they are welcome here as long as they do not role play as a child or baby talk 
 if they do message them warn them if they continue to do so eject them if they come back then ban them and write up that notecard

People who come in looking like this are to be banned drop a detailed notcard with their name/s

These can be just people wanting to be cute but they can also be known to be trolls just watch them any issues again do that notecard up and ban

Nude avatars 

   This could be a loading issue if unsure ask your DJ/HOST if they see them as nude if they do then drop them a message they may not know they show up as nude if they continue to do so then eject and ban

Private parts 

if you see somebody with their penis sticking out drop them a message if they do not do anything eject them if they come back like that ban them do that notecard

Club Rules

Dress code: Smart casual, Semi-formal, formal or cocktail
Staff dress: cocktail or formal attire.

Kid avatars: Not allowed.

Language: Staff no use of foul language. Patrons mild to moderate language within limits. Absolutely no use of the "C" word.

No nudity or sex on sim

No sexual emotes

No griefing. Zero tolerance.

No oversized avatars inside the club.

No fighting, no drama in local chat. take it to IM.

No gestures more than 5 lines. No spamming of gestures.

No arguing with staff. Any issues direct to management.

No poaching/recruitment for other establishments.


Management enforces a strict dress code at all times. Acceptable dress includes smart casual, cocktail or formal wear. If your attire is deemed inappropriate you will be asked to change.

No child avatars are permitted. No exceptions. Violators will be banned.

Patrons are requested to mind their language. Mild to moderate language within limits only. Absolutely no use of the "C" word.

Nudity or sex acts are expressly forbidden. This includes sexual emotes.

There is a zero tolerance policy on griefing.

No oversized avatars are permitted inside the club. They may roam freely outside.

Absolutely no fighting or drama in local chat. Take it to IM.

There will be no spamming of gestures or gestures more than 5 lines in length.

Staff decisions are final. There is to be no arguing. Appeals can be made directly to management.

No attempted poaching of staff or patrons will be tolerated.

DJ Rules

DJ rules
you can only call a back to back if no one else has called it at the  15 minute too mark

Djs must be online and checked in 30 min before your set is due to start
check in by eg " dj checking in for 2pm" in the voodoo employees group

if you have not checked in by 30 mins before your shift, at 45 you will be marked as a no show and a dj wil be asked to replace, do not expect to be able to just show up 5 mins before your set to dj with out the previous being done.

if you can not make a set it is important to contact a member of management asap

if you have 3 no shows in a row you will lose your perm may no longer be required  as a dj

staff are NOT to make PRIVATE agreements about replacements at anytime this is our managers job not yours

we like the fact you send your dj group invites out how ever you will not spam and you are only allowed to send a dj invite twice per 2 hour set

djs who invite their dj groups when not djing will be on the spot fired

if somebody sends a invite for you they will also follow the same protocol

Dreamers is a mature sim and will follow all guide lines listed by linden lab destination guide
by doing this we have standards and rules that must be followed

sexual conduct in anyway will not be tolerated  if a situation is created by a staff member that makes another staff member or vip feel sexually harassed in anyway it will be dealt with by management

if working here you are expected to call Dreamers by its name "Dreamers"

You are hired as a dj not just for your music but for your personality and the way you hold yourself on air and speak please use it, non speaking djs will be fired on the spot unless approved by a member of the Management team.

we are not like other venues we expect all djs to talk on air and interact with their co staff member and vips at all times

djs are not to slow dance on stage at anytime you will not dance with your loved one on stage or off stage if you are working

djs will not use skype or any other online voice service why djing your here to dj

if you cant make a set or miss a set you are to contact a member of management

Host Rules

HOST Do's and Donts


As a staff member of Dreamers you represent our brand our club Dreamers.

you can only call a back to back if no one else has called it at the  15 minute too mark

We expect our hosts to be familiar with all operations of the Dreamers club.

if you are unclear or have any questions please contact a member of management

We expect our staff to be vibrant, respectful and have a fun personality

We expect you to remain classy ( this includes dress code) while in the venue.

When getting the notecards and tags from Dreamers you will be able to start working immediately if at anytime you are a host and there is no host on stage you will be expected to work and get up and host.

Tip jars are located on the stage make sure you are logged in.

A patron tips you at anytime you are tipped direct you will place it into your tipjar we do have alts and we do check this if you are found to Be dishonest you will no longer be working here at Dreamers.

Unless a event stated by managers you will not dance on the floor all staff are to stay on stage

You will not be allowed to wear your staff tags on the dance floor at anytime
if you see somebody wearing their staff tag on the floor please message them and ask them nice to remove their staff tag
this takes the spotlight away from working staff and can confuse patrons.

Hosts are to send out notices 15 min before the event starts there is to be NO half time notices as this can annoy people and they may leave the group.

DJ crashed what do we do? If there is no sound go to the inworld audio and place the stream located in your Dreamers packet
if the dj has been gone for 5 min then you need to get in staff chat and ask for a emergency dj
if nobody steps up or a manager is not online send a notice in staff chat asking for a emergency dj

Who is your next DJ/Host?
We have a check in system in our staff chat everyone is to check in 30min prior  to their set this is so staff and managers know that you are coming
this will tell you who your next dj/host will be.

You made a mistake sending a notice to vips and put wrong dj?
multiple notices are annoying and will make our vips leave as long as the landmark is in the notice that is the main thing unless asked by a member of management.

Notices should only be sent ONCE per 2 hours

It is the job of the next host on duty to send out the notice unless asked by a member of management.
Something has come up and you need to go afk
you can NOT go afk for more then 5 min you if you need to go afk for longer then 5 min you are expected to go off stage to the side and  log out of your jar and call for a back up host.
STAFF ARE NOT to announce where vips can see that they are going afk or will brb this will allow people to break rules knowing that there is no active staff member on duty and will allow rules to be broken, crashes etc.

Staff are expected to list their events this will help bring traffic as well as more tips helping both you, the club and fellow staff members. ( we do check)

Staff are not to engage in the sex trade why working in Dreamers and all staff members are to have dignity at all times

All Staff expected are to dress and look nice while working at Dreamers, Classy/ formal/ semi formal/ cocktail attire is expected, you are not a hooker please do not look like one.

Hosts are to inforce the club rules at all times.

we keep our drama out of the club if you date staff member and break up please act professional at all times leave your bad attitudes and boyfriend/girlfriend issues at the door do not bring fights and drama into Dreamers,  we want to be as drama free as we can and keep a good atmosphere at all times.
DO NOT fall asleep when working if you are having trouble staying awake call for a back up

Incase of a dispute between staff members please contact a member of  management do not bring it to members of the public or fellow staff members

If you continue to miss perm shifts you may be fired please contact a member of management asap if you need to call out contact management asap
no shows and continued call outs let the team down and also the club.
constant no-shows will be delt with dismissal from Dreamers.

ALL STAFF are NOT to harass costumers for tips under any circumstance

if people are looking for the owner of Dreamers give them the calling card of one of the owners and have them contact them

Dreamers do not allow any racist comments and remarks towards anyone on the Dreamers sim this is a tos violation of Linden labs and anyone involved will be estate banned with out question.

Child avatars are not allowed on sim.
No oversize avatars inside the club but are welcome in the side room of the club or on sim.
There will be no role playing at anytime on sim.

no begging
no escorting at anytime
no spankers or titlers anything that spams local
rezzing is a privilege if continues rezzing of items is left this means that rez rights will be taken away from staff members

fail to do so means your set will go to somebody else and you will be marked as a no show

You are to interact with your host this does not mean flirting.

If a fellow staff member tries to help you (eg mic issues) dont get angry

DJ's are to talk on mic and interact with the vips.

Hosts:
If you come to the club and you see a DJ with out a host message the DJ asking if they have a host if not please step up and help out we are a team here.

Hosts are responsible to meet and great vips, keep chat as active as you can tho sometimes it can be hard when u have quiet mutant vips but try anyway.

Your the security of the club if somebody comes in that you think is trolling warn/eject
if you ban your to drop a notecard in the box back stage explaining who u banned date time (slt) and why, copy paste log also
